Rustic handmade viola  with neck graft. Made of plain pine front with plain figured maple back sides and neck scroll. Red-brown translucent oil varnish. Ebony fittings.  With length of back of 16″ (40.64 cm)  and string length of 37cm.

Biagio Caruana Marsigliese (1885, to1957), a  violin maker active from 1905 in Rome.  He was awarded Gold medals awarded at Padua, Rome, Florence, and Cremona. He was also a double bass player
