Two-piece back with fine grain and tight figure. Fine-grain front. Amber-brown varnish. Rosewood endpin, ebony fittings with an inlayed tailpiece. String length: 33.2 cms
Carlo Annibale Tononi (1675–1730) trained and worked in his father Johannes Tononi’s workshop in Bologna, Italy until his father, died in 1713. He then to work in Venice. This is a copy of his work.
