Two-piece back of wide grain and tight figure. Medium-grain front. Amber varnish. Ebony fittings and Wittner tailpiece. String length: 32.9cms.

Thomas Craig was a violin maker and restorer, based in Aberdeen, who also, it is believed  imported instruments from Germany and France in the white and varnished them in his workshop.
