Antique  violin, made in Germany, circa 1890. With Thomastik Dominant strings. A  ‘long patterned’ violin with a 14.5″ (36.3 cms) length of back. Labelled ‘Paollo Cassini Ano facit Modern’

In good condition. Set up at Moseley Violins. Tyrolean model. One-piece maple back with wide grain, and tight figure. Spruce front with medium grain. Ebony fittings. Golden brown varnish. With the stop length of 326 mm.
