The SILENZIA is an ideal electric violin for anyone with a limited budget. The built-in active preamp provides the player with useful sound controls for volume and high & low frequencies; these are especially helpful when using basic amplification that may have limited tone/equalisation controls available. The phones output means you can practice with the headphones provided  with minimal acoustic output.
