Jay Haide is a brand for instruments from a US company owned by Jay Ifshin of  El Cerrito, California.

The instruments, which are entirely handmade, are exceptionally well built, using excellent materials for the advanced student / intermediate range.

There are 3 choices of Jay Haide instrument,

– Plain (figured maple and standard red brown varnish)

– Superior (104 Highly figured maple, brushed oil varnish)

– Antique (High quality choice tonewoods with a beautifully applied antique finish)
