Take It Away- Arts Council SchemeWe are pleased to announce that we have been selected to participate in the national ‘Take it Away’ scheme. ‘Take it Away’ is an Arts Council initiative designed to help more people get involved in learning and playing music. The scheme allows individuals to apply for a loan of between £100 to £2,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument, and pay it back with a 10% deposit and nine equal monthly instalments, completely interest free. For more information check out their website: |

How does the Take It Away Scheme work?If you would like to apply then you need to:STEP 1: Select an instrument you want to buy and any associated accessories. For example, case, bow, music books, a session of lessons. You can do this in the shop or over the phone. STEP 2: We make a simple online credit check in the shop and if successful, you complete some forms, set up a Direct Debit mandate and pay a 10% deposit. You can then take what you have bought with you. STEP 3:You then make 9 equal payments over the next 9 months to Moneyway – the Arts Council Credit partners. To find out more go to the Take it Away website http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/takeitaway/ or contact us at the shop. |

Summer – a time of holidays. If you plan to take your instrument with you then there are a few things to think about:
Don’t leave your instrument in your car for too long. High temperatures can affect the glue and the quality of the wood. |

Four very vibrant and entertaining musicians. We recommend that you check their website www.stringfever.co.uk then buy an advance ticket at £5 per person.
